The world market for tele-health

is set to exceed $1 billion by 2016 and could jump to $6 billion in 2020, according to a new report, "The World Market for telehealth – A Quantitative Market Assessment – 2011 Edition," by InMedica. The principal countries using health cards for patients and/or health professionals are France (60 million cards), Germany (80 million), Taiwan (24 million) Belgium (11 million), Austria (11 million) and Algeria (7 million).
